In a cacophony of opinions, so quickly drowning ego and doubt
I find I ease my mind with a single moment

This matters
My monkey mind
My monkey mind is always ahead of time
It's always busy with the next show or the next track in the studio
But what would people say?
Was I kind enough to that person?
I read all social media, even though I know it's not healthy
And I take criticism personally
I did my best, but I could have done better
I'm trying to let go of those negative
Thoughts and try to enjoy this moment
Enjoy the connection with myself and with you
Being in the here and now
