After 10 long spider years
It has come time for me to spider-retire
And to pass the torch on to you
The most talented of my 117,000 grand-spider-children

Oh wow, thanks grandpa! It is an honour
But, if you're going to be the real
Itsy bitsy spider, I'm going to have to know
You can perform your official itsy bitsy duties

The itsy bitsy spider climbed up the water spout
Down came the rain and washed the spider out
Up came the sun and dried up all the rain
And the itsy bitsy spider climbed up the spout again

That was very good little one
But back in my day, I used to do
It an itsy bitsy bit faster
No problem grandpa. OK
