Rises The Moon

2:42So when you left me home alone The other day, straight after the phone Hid in my snuggly bed I felt suddenly big slice of bread Didn't recall bed-bread-eating Picked up the bread and got up seating Then something followed the infamous slice Something quite ugly and big and bice Showed first its head, then paws, then tail Slid out from my under bed graceful and hale What was that beast? I glanced in fear It looked at me with eyes that gear Opened its mouth to show off its teeth With long, nasty tongue somewhere beneath That was the dragon I always feared In my dark dreams, not only once appeared I told you back then about the beast Its flamy breath, its size, not least Uuh-uuh-aah uuh-uuh-aah uuh-uuh-aah-hah 'To not to worry' - is what you said You looked at me, I stroked your head 'These beasts for sure won't come here As long as we stay together, dear' I smiled back with a hint of relief 'Oh, then things are simple, in my belief' Ooh-ooh-ooh-Aah-hah aah-hah-hah But when you left me home alone The other day, straight after the phone The dragon left its hiding spot It knew it would not been caught Ooh-ooh-oooh-ooh Woo-woo-wooo-woo Woo-oooh-ooh-woo-aah Fighting a dragon's not a child's thing These little girls need dads to ring And only dads are strong and scary They kill the dragons with guns they carry But when you left me home alone The other day straight after the phone There wasn't much that could have been done And all in all the dragon won (eeh-aah-ooh-aay-aay) So daddy please go home instead This is to say that I am dead
