We are revisiting Taylor Swift's 'Red' album
Which is celebrating its sixth anniversary
You know one of the songs on this album
Is 'We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together'
That song basically says there is not a chance
It is over, chapter closed, moving on
But the next song that we're gonna play, 'I Almost Do'
It's a little less cut and dry, so I talked to Taylor
About the fact that when the relationship ends
It doesn't always mean that the feelings just go away

'I Almost Do' is a song that I wrote about
The feeling of missing someone that you realise
You're not supposed to be with
You know that it doesn't work out
It hasn't worked out, but it doesn't
Make you stop wanting to call them
It doesn't stop you from wishing you could run to them
When you have a bad day, and um
All the times that I've wanted to do that
Instead of doing it, wrote a song about it
